Prii is an energy specialist for on-site generators. We connect gas and diesel gensets at commercial and industrial sites to Great Britain's Capacity Market, so the equipment you already own and maintain brings in a steady income.
Get in touchPrii holds 15-year Capacity Market agreements for on-site generation, won in the national T-4 auctions. We are looking for host sites to fill them.
How it works for a host site
- You keep your generator
- Nothing changes about ownership, maintenance or its primary job as backup for your site. It stays available to you.
- We handle the market
- Registration, metering, testing and the agreement with the system operator are all on us. You are not expected to know the Capacity Market.
- It runs rarely
- The generator is paid to be available, not to run. It is called on only during a declared system stress event, which happens rarely, and for scheduled tests.
- You are paid for availability
- A fixed annual payment for each year the generator is enrolled, agreed up front. Long-term agreements mean predictable income rather than year-to-year uncertainty.

Prii Energy Trading is a new company, founded by engineers with experience designing and operating flexible energy assets: batteries, electric vehicle fleets and on-site generation. We are small on purpose and focused on one thing: getting flexible assets paid properly.
